The Radical Ecological Democracy platform and web journal are the initiatives of the India based Kalpavriksh Environmental Action Group, which has been in the forefront of the struggle for environmental sanity and sustainability in India for the last four decades. The RED website welcomes contributions from grassroots activists, academics, thinkers, organizers, journalists and others imagining, conceptualizing and practicing “transformative alternatives”.
